1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PetVetPlans's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

PetVetPlans is a pet care financing service that connects pet owners with participating lenders in our network. We are not a lender and do not make credit decisions. Key points:

  • We do not guarantee loan approval or specific loan terms
  • Lenders in our network make independent credit decisions
  • Loan terms, rates, and conditions are determined by individual lenders
  • Not all applicants will qualify for the maximum loan amount

3. Eligibility Requirements

To use our service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Have a valid Social Security Number
  • Have a valid email address and phone number
  • Have an active bank account
  • Provide accurate and truthful information

4. Loan Terms and APR Disclosure

APR Range: Participating lenders offer APR rates ranging from 5.99% to 35.99%.

Financing Amounts: Pet care financing from $500 to $5,000.

Repayment Terms: Loan terms range from 61 days to 72 months.

Example: $5,000 financing for veterinary care at 15% APR over 24 months results in monthly payments of $242.43, with total repayment of $5,818.32.

Your actual rate, loan amount, and terms will be determined by lenders based on your creditworthiness and other factors.

5. Credit Checks and Credit Score Impact

Submitting a request through our service involves a soft credit inquiry that will not affect your credit score. If you choose to proceed with a loan offer from a lender, that lender may perform a hard credit inquiry, which may impact your credit score.

6. Information Sharing

By submitting your information through our service, you consent to us sharing your information with participating lenders and service providers to facilitate the financing matching process. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to manipulate or circumvent our matching process

8. No Guarantee of Approval

PetVetPlans does not guarantee that you will be matched with a lender or approved for financing. Approval is at the sole discretion of participating lenders based on their underwriting criteria.

9. Fees

PetVetPlans does not charge consumers any fees to submit a financing request or be matched with lenders. However, lenders may charge origination fees, late payment fees, or other fees as specified in their financing agreements.

10. Limitation of Liability

PetVetPlans is not liable for any damages arising from your use of our service or any financing obtained through our platform. We do not control lender decisions, financing terms, or the actions of third parties.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

13. Equal Credit Opportunity

Lenders in our network are required to comply with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), 15 U.S.C. § 1691 et seq. They do not discriminate against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age (provided the applicant has the capacity to enter into a binding contract), because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program, or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act.

15. Right of Rescission

Depending on the type of financing offered by a lender and applicable federal and state laws, you may have a right to rescind (cancel) a credit transaction within a specified period after consummation. Your lender will provide specific information about any applicable right of rescission in their loan documents, consistent with the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), 15 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq., and Regulation Z.
